FREE HOT WATER BOTTLE COVER

Please enjoy your FREE Pattern! This hot water bottle cover pattern is only 3 pieces, where the back opening overlaps, so no need for any zippers etc, which would be uncomfortable on this product. It's also a practical product to create from left-over fabrics, to gift friends, and those in community/care homes for the winter time.

It's an excellent beginner project as it has 4 hems (back opening and top opening) then just 2 seams. You will need an iron to press the hems before sewing (it helps to get your hems straight).

It's best to use stretchy fabric for this pattern, either very stretchy (like cotton lycra) or 1-way stretch (like jersey/t-shirt fabric) as long as it's comfortable. But if you don't have stretchy fabric, you can still use non-stretchy fabric, like old bedsheets or pillowcases too.

If you are purchasing fabric, you only need half a metre (or 50cm) whether the fabric roll is 150cm wise or 115cm wide.
